Blackhawks legend receives major honoring in the hockey world

Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith, who won three Stanley Cups in a Blackhawks sweater, was officially inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame's Class of 2025.
Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith, who was one of the best defensemen in team history, has received a tremendous honour.
Keith has officially been inducted into the
Hockey Hall of Fame as part of their class of 2025, along with fellow defenseman Zdeno Chara and former forward Joe Thornton.

Thornton and Keith were both teammates on Team Canada during the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics, winning the gold medal. They also had multiple battles during both regular season and playoff competition.
Keith and the Blackhawks also defeated Chara and the Bruins in the 2013 SCF.
Duncan Keith Is One Of The Best Defensemen In Blackhawks History
Keith was taken with the 54th overall pick by the Blackhawks in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, and he would play college hockey for the NCAA's Michigan State Spartans.
He'd also play for the WHL's Kelowna Rockets and the AHL's Norfolk Admirals before making his NHL debut in a Blackhawks sweater in 2005-06 and never looked back.
He would help the Blackhawks win the first of three Stanley Cups in 2010, and would also win the Conn Smythe Trophy as Playoff MVP in 2015.
He would play a final year with the Edmonton Oilers in 2021-22 before retiring.
