Pending Toronto Maple Leafs UFA forward Mitch Marner and his wife were allegedly shopping for a new home in the Las Vegas area, per a newly released report.
By all indications, it looks like Toronto Maple Leafs pending UFA forward Mitch Marner has played his last game as a member of the only NHL club that he's played for during his career.
Not long ago, he in cancelled his annual charity event Toronto while also reportedly refusing to grant a meeting to Leafs management, further upping the odds that he would be leaving the Maple Leafs in free agency.
There are multiple teams that are in on Marner in what would be a considerable offensive addition to their team, including the Florida Panthers, Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Utah Mammoth, and the Chicago Blackhawks.
But one team appears to have the inside track on Marner based on a newly released report.
Per NHL analyst Frank Seravalli, Marner and his wife have been seen shopping for a new home in the Las Vegas area. The Vegas Golden Knights are a team that has also been linked to Marner, and if this report is proven correct, we may now know Marner's next professional address: T-Mobile Arena.

The Golden Knights would have to shed salary on their roster in order to accommodate a new contract for Marner, and there have been reports that they've been shopping forward Tomas Hertl.
