The former NHL enforcer Dustin Byfuglien was well received at a recent event, offering a glimpse into what the player's new career venture is.

Many players made a mark on the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2000s, but it's safe to say that Dustin Byfuglien has left a lasting impression on the fans' minds.
Since being drafted 245th overall by the Hawks in 2003, he has had an impressive career in the NHL. He won the Stanley Cup with Chicago during his third full season with the team and stood out from the others with his physical presence and scoring ability.
He notably scored 11 goals and five assists in 22 games when the Hawks won the Cup in 2010.
After that season, he joined the Atlanta Thrashers for their final season before relocating to Winnipeg, where he had the best seasons of his career.
He retired in 2019, after 869 games, 525 points, and 1,094 PIMs following 14 years in the NHL.
A few days ago, a video was posted online featuring Byfuglien in his new career venture: professional fishing.

Video Offers a Glimpse Into Byfuglien's New Life in Professional Fishing

The former NHLer has been competing in pro fishing with Classicbass for many years.
In the past days, Byfuglien appeared on stage after the Kenora Bass Invitational, where the official results were revealed.
The interviewer pointed out the warm welcome he usually gets from people attending competitions. The crowd on site didn't need to hear more to start cheering.
He was later asked to comment on his fishing day before the interviewer switched to hockey.
Watch the full moment in the video below:
Alongside his partner Mike Reid, Byfuglien finished 25th out of the 141 teams competing. The team hauled 49.25 lb of largemouth bass, missing the top spot by only 7.24 lb.
It's great to see the former enforcer follow his passion. We wish him the best going forward.
