The Chicago Blackhawks organization officially announced roster cuts, including a surprising decision.

The score didn't reflect how the game unfolded. The Hawks were outshot 43-17 by the Wings' prospects.
In the aftermath of that loss, the Hawks announced a wave of cuts from their training camp.

Blackhawks Cut Four Players From Training Camp

In an official statement, the Hawks announced that four players have been cut from the training camp: Nathan Behm, Parker Holmes, Jack Pridham, and Marek Vanacker.
Behm is returning to the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL, Pridham to the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL, while Holmes and Vanacker will go to the OHL with the Brantford Bulldogs.
Among those four players, only Pridham and Vanacker took part in last night's preseason game but had limited ice time and couldn't have an impact on the team.
They couldn't convince the Hawks' coaching staff to keep them longer, and management likely saw that sending them to their junior teams as soon as possible was the best possible scenario for their development.
On social media, some fans called out Davidson's decision to cut Behm before giving him a chance to take part in a preseason game:
Cuts are inevitable at camp, and many more are expected to be announced in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks will be back at practice ahead of their next game, set to go down Saturday against the St. Louis Blues.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of adjustments Jeff Blashill and Kyle Davidson apply ahead of the next challenge, especially after the loss against the Wings.
