Truly Sad Details Emerge About a Leafs Legends Current Battle With ALS

In August the Salming family, along with Borje announced that the longtime Toronto Maple Leaf had been diagnosed with ALS aka Lou Gherig's Disease.
And for the first time since the announcement, NHL fans were provided an update on Salming's health.
Salming's wife Pia provided an update, which is hard to read.
«He was so depressed that he couldn't talk to me either. He would try to process this piece himself. We have always been super tight, me and Bojre and have always talked a lot to each other,» said Pia Salming regarding the digression of her husbands health.
Prayers and thoughts are with Borje and his family during this very tough time.
