For the Blackhawks, this is the team's Centennial Season, as an organization that has survived 100 years in the league and become a legendary team in its own right.
The Blackhawks have drawn up their plans for the season and how to celebrate it with fans involved.

The Blackhawks' centennial theme is 'Always an Original,' and the team has already released the slate of its centennial celebration events.
The celebrations this season will be divided into eras, honoring legendary stars and their former home, the Chicago Stadium.
After concluding these eras, the "Next Originals" will be up next, which I suspect will be part of the bobble head giveaways.

The festivities begin on October 11th, at home on Saturday in the United Center against the Montreal Canadiens.
