Matthew Tkachuk Jumps Shayne Gostisbehere Following Dirty Hit
Matthew Tkachuk witnessed the hit, and did not like what he saw. As a result, Tkachuk charged and then jumped Gostisbehere to back up his teammate.
The hit seems to be dirty as Barkov was in a dangerous position along the boards and his back was clearly turned towards Gostisbehere who traveled a decent length to make the hit.
Props to Tkachuk for standing up for Barkov, especially since he is one of the players the front office would prefer didn't get mixed up in things like this.
You can't let someone get away with a dirty hit like this when Barkov's head goes flying towards the boards.
