Major retirement to plague the NHL following player unable to walk
There's some unexpected news about Ryan Reaves from the Toronto Maple Leafs. During the offseason, the Leafs signed him to a three-year deal, mainly to add some toughness to the team.
But things have taken a turn since he hurt his knee on December 14th and had to sit out.
Surprisingly, Reaves recently shared that his knee problems have been going on for a while. In an interview with Sportsnet, he said he's keen to get back on the ice, but there's a big issue – he can't skate or function without knee braces, which is not good for his health.
Now, after being out for over a month, people are wondering about Reaves' future. Even though he's physically ready to come back, the fact that he needs knee braces is a major problem.
So, Reaves is thinking about whether to try a comeback or consider retiring. It's a big decision that could mark a turning point in his career.
