Fleury and Toews are total opposites in terms of personality, so when the Wild and Blackhawks played recently it was anybody's guess as to how the pair would interact.
When Toews fired a shot on net that seemed to be a sure goal and Fleury answer the bell with a sweet save, the former teammates had a joking clash.
Toews skated by Fleury and gave him a little joking nudge and the pair shared a chuckle.
For captain serious it was nice to see a little joke amidst the uncertainty of his future and for Fleury he is no stranger, as we all know to playing jokes.
The game within the game is what makes it exciting to watch, when former teammates can show their emotions and enjoy themselves beyond just playing the game.
Toews had some comments to say about Fleury after the game, and called out Fleury for his «embellishment» on his save against Toews.
