Delia him in!
Former Hawks prospect turned NHL goaltender, Collin Delia, is back in the NHL with the Vancouver Canucks. The 28 year old signed with Vancouver this past summer, and has played 8 games with their AHL team in Abbotsford, with a 5-3 record and .884 SV%.

Delia signed with the Blackhawks in July of 2017, and played with all 3 Chicago affiliates - Blackhawks, Rockford IceHogs and Indy Fuel. He made his NHL debut on March 29, 2018, which just so happens to be the day Scott Foster made his EBUG debut due to injuries suffered by Crawford, Forsberg, and Delia.
Delia returned to the IceHogs at the start of the 2018-19 season, but was recalled again to back-up the Blackhawks for the injured Crawford. He went back and forth a couple more times, and after 5 seasons, was picked up by the Canucks in a one-year $750,000 deal.

Initial reports state that Demko will be out for at least 6 weeks due to the injury he suffered during the Canucks/Panthers game on Thursday.

Spencer Martin will most likely be the new starter with Delia as his back-up until Demko returns.

Delia is up for the challenge, and looking forward to supporting his team in a «different way».
