Blackhawks superstar days in Chicago numbered?
When I think about the Chicago Blackhawks, I think of two players Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. As Hawks nation knows Patrick Kane was moved to the New York Rangers during this year's trade deadline in an attempt to make a run for another Stanley Cup.
Toews, on the other hand, was battling with his health for many months and could not get his season to continue.
During a recent interview, Toews expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Chicago fan base and organization and used much of his conversation in the past tense period.
There has been much speculation about Jonathan Toews' career, as he is finishing his mega contract with the Blackhawks. Granted there haven't been any thoughts of where he might go and most people think he is going to call it for his career.
It's certainly hard to say whether this may happen, however, I feel he is one of the greatest Blackhawks of all time and has given the organization much to cheer for during his time as captain.
