Winnipeg Jets temporarily lose head coach Rick Bowness
The Winnipeg Jets are having a successful season and currently hold the top spot in the Central Division. However, their head coach, Rick Bowness, has taken some time off due to a minor medical procedure according to the announcement by the Jets, and will be out until he's feeling better.
"The Winnipeg Jets today announced that head coach Rick Bowness will not be on the bench for tonight's game due to a minor medical procedure. As a result, he has returned to Winnipeg for treatment. He will return to the team once his condition improves. Associate coach Scott Arniel is serving as the interim head coach until Rick returns to the team."
The team wishes him well and hopes for his speedy recovery. With 15 games left before playoffs, the Jets will have to adjust without Bowness for the time being. There is no set timeline for his return
