Former Chicago Blackhawks legend Jonathan Toews may find a new home in the NHL, as two of the three teams have been rumored to be the Winnipeg Jets and the New Jersey Devils.

Jonathan Toews has put out feelers in regards to a return to the NHL.
While nothing has materialized as far as an official offer goes, he's begun to skate again and rumors continue to swirl of his next destination.
Toews is a three-time Stanley Cup champion in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks and would be on the wishlist of NHL teams who want someone with playoff experience.
At only 36, he has plenty left in the tank to restart the tail end of his NHL career, and could find a new home with a competitive squad.
There are three teams that could have an interest in signing the veteran:

Colorado Avalanche

The Colorado Avalanche are always in the mix for the Stanley Cup playoffs and could utilize a depth center like Toews, strengthening the team down the middle. Toews is a solid two-way forward, even if he's not putting up the numbers like he used to in his prime.
The Avalanche forward group, as it's currently constructed, is very lethal, with a GF/G of 4.33, but on the bottom-six is where Toews would fit in best, and providing Jared Bednar's Avalanche a great chance at puck possession.

Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets are one of the best teams in the NHL, and as a small marker squad could utilize the hometown hero, Toews to bolster the teams depth and make the Jets an all-around better organization.
"Certainly if he's progressing to that point in time, it would be a real welcome conversation to see if there's a fit both ways," Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff said via Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press. "I think it would be a great story for his career, too.

While depth isn't necessarily an issue for the Jets, the bottom-six center group looks a little thin, as Morgan Barron doesn't have the experience in the NHL that Toews has. There's a possibility that he could push Vladislav Namestikov out of the 3rd-line position if his play is up to what we've seen in the past.

New Jersey Devils

The New Jersey Devils under Sheldon Keefe have been a force of nature for NHL fans and teams to contend with. Entering the 1st-round of the playoffs against the Carolina Hurricanes, they could utilize someone like Toews who has seen the depths of the postseason, and knows the struggle.
With the forward core missing Jack Hughes and having to utilize Cody Glass as a depth center, they could definitely utilize Toews to button up a very loose center group.
Where do you think Jonathan Toews should sign with upon his return to the NHL?
