Three-time Stanley Cup Champion Joel Quenneville interviewed by Western Conference team for head coaching job
The Chicago Blackhawks are among the few teams currently involved in a head coaching search.
One of the organizations, the Anaheim Ducks, have reportedly interviewed former Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville.
NHL Insdier and CHSN analyst Frank Seravalli also spoke on the matter, saying Quenneville and Ducks GM Pat Verbeek were teammates back in the day on the Hartford Whalers, so they already know each other on a personal level and could elevate Quenneville further in the process.
Seravalli also stated that it's still very early, as it was one of the first of many interviews, and that things could change.

He is a strong candidate but it's still early in the process, multiple interviews to come in Anaheim.
Quenneville and Ducks GM Pat Verbeek were teammates in Hartford in 1989-90.
Quenneville has an impressive resume with three Stanley Cups with Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015.
We'll see if teams look past his history, or if he's still viewed by other teams as a bad name.
Joel, besides all mentioned above, is a very good coach and proved that during the Cup runs.
Maybe Quenneville will even be an option to return to the Windy City as news came out that David Carle will not be coming to the Hawks, as they search for a new top candidate.
If the Hawks decide they do want him back, though, they'll have to fight with the interview process, money, term, and the relationship with Verbeek.
It all depends on how everything is viewed, and the multiple different opinions from multiple different people working inside the Blackhawks org.
