The Dallas Stars are trying to trade Jason Robertson, and the reason why is being revealed by NHL analyst Elliotte Friedman with knowledge of the situation.
Despite being one of the key contributors to the Dallas Stars over the last several years, they are rumored to be looking to move on from forward Jason Robertson.
He has a year remaining on his current deal, but could be a very attractive option for teams looking for an influx of offense.
During a recent '32 Thoughts' podcast, NHL analyst Elliotte Friedman theorizes that it's a numbers situation behind the drama between the Stars and Robertson and the reported trade rumors.
