The potential cost of acquiring scorer Jason Robertson from the Dallas Stars for the Chicago Blackhawks has now been revealed by analyst Pierre LeBrun in a recent news release.
The Chicago Blackhawks have already made a notable addition to their team so far this summer with the acquisition of 2x Stanley Cup winner Andre Burakovsky from the Seattle Kraken.
In return, they sent former Red Wings 1st round draft pick Joe Veleno to the Kraken.
The Blackhawks could be looking for an even bigger fish on the trade market, as Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson has been rumored to be available despite Dallas having made it to the WCF for the last 3 years running.
Per NHL analyst Pierre LeBrun, the Stars would want future pieces in return, as they are looking to free up more salary cap space this summer.

The Stars have already traded Mason Marchment to the Kraken, while losing forward Mikael Granlund to the Anaheim Ducks in free agency.
Per David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period last month, the Stars are willing to listen to offers for Robertson.
Numerous reports have indicated star winger Jason Robertson is in play for the Stars, and TFP's David Pagnotta has confirmed that teams have been inquiring about his potential availability and the Stars have been willing to listen.
Robertson, 25, is entering the final year of a four-year, $31 million contract with Dallas and moving his $7.75 million cap hit would allow Nill to round out the rest of the roster.
