The Chicago Blackhawks have revealed their official plan with 3rd overall pick Anton Frondell

Anton Frondell has made waves as the Blackhawks' 3rd overall draft pick in 2025. He's garnered a lot of media attention, especially after his statement comparing himself to Florida Panthers center, Sasha Barkov.

The Blackhawks have a verifiable two-way talent who scored 25 points in the SHL with Djurgadens IF.

While we've seen recent 1st-round picks start their NHL careers fairly quickly, in Connor Bedard, Kevin Korchinski, Frank Nazar, and Artyom Levshunov, what does the future hold for Frondell in Chicago?

Kyle Davidson stated he believes that Frondell will play in the SHL with Djurgardens next season, but remains unsure whether or not it's the best path for him moving forward.

While it appears at the moment, maybe the Blackhawks and Frondell's camp haven't been in contact, as Frondell believes if he isn't good enough to make the Hawks out of camp, he'll rejoin his team in the SHL.

Now, it seems like the two sides haven't been coordinating as they should, which gives us some hesitation in regards of what to expect in the future.
