Follow the Blackhawks loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, head coach Anders Sorensen let his true feelings be known on Connor Bedard, who has let his frustrations get the best to him in the month of March.

The organizations losing ways has discouraged Connor Bedard, with losses stacking up game by game, interim head coach Anders Sorensen has addressed an honest message about the former first overall picks morale.
There seems to be no escape for Connor Bedard and the dwelling Blackhawks, who sit in the NHL's basement as the 31st of 32nd worst NHL organizations, and each deflating loss is piling up.
Bedard still leads the roster in points, but with multiple 10-minute misconducts in the month of March, his emotions seem to be trending downhill.
The Blackhawks head coach has admitted that is is weighing on him lately, and concerns now raise for the young stars' mental health.
«He's frustrated a little bit, pressing. Especially with a player of his caliber, he expects to score and is on the spotlight constantly. But just trying to get him to trust his instincts and make the plays he sees but don't force things at the same time.»

Fans have expressed their concern for the 19-years olds mental health on various occasions this season.
"I'm actually genuinely so concerned about Connor Bedard's mental health and I really want to know what the league is going to do for him and how we can get him out of Chicago"

One even stated Bedard is 'two games away' from being checked into a mental health facility.
"even though theyre in very similar positions the vibes around the sharks and the blackhawks are veryyyy different rn like celebrini is dancing on the ice and filming tiktoks with his bff while bedard is about 2 games away from needing to be checked into a mental health facility"

The latest video of Bedard shows him looking quite mentally exhausted in the penalty box, and the video caption? 'Can someone call in a mental health check for Connor Bedard?'.

Blackhawks fans cannot wait for this dreadful season to be done, and Connor Bedard seems to be in the same boat - hoping for a fresh start in the 2025-26 season.
