Patrick Kane issues a major statement to the Chicago Blackhawks regarding Connor Bedard
Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, who's fresh off inking a one-year contract extension with the Detroit Red Wings, has a message for Connor Bedard.
The Blackhawks made the tough decision to part ways with Patrick Kane on February 28, 2023, in order to help speed up their 'tanking' process.
It ultimately worked in their favor, as they landed the first overall pick in the 2023 NHL entry draft, selecting sensation Connor Bedard with the No. 1 overall pick.
Bedard has quickly made an impact on the organization and has also passed Patrick Kane's rookie milestones, but the former Blackhawks 3x Stanley Cup Champion has a piece of advice for the coaching staff on how to handle Bedard moving forward.
While showing plenty of praise for Bedard's skill, Kane suggests the coaching staff to consider moving him to the wing rather than keeping him on center with many more responsibilities.
Kane's suggestion could ultimately lead to a lethal duo between Frank Nazar on center and Bedard on wing.
The future is bright in Chicago, and it's a bright sight to see former legend Patrick Kane believe in it.
