Elliotte Friedman drops eye-opening report and it appears Sidney Crosby's being traded

It almost feels wrong to picture Crosby wearing anything other than a Penguins jersey.
But as we've seen in past seasons, that doesn't mean he can't be involved in trade rumors.
The Penguins have missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the past three years, marking the longest drought of Crosby's career.
Determined to shake things up, Pittsburgh President of Hockey Operations Kyle Dubas has already started rebuilding the organization.
He removed long-time head coach Mike Sullivan and brought in Dan Muse. Former Penguins Cup winner Nick Bonino will also be behind the bench as an assistant.
Yet despite the new voices, the Penguins aren't expected to realistically compete for a postseason spot this coming season. They could also soon lose Crosby's longtime teammate
Evgeni Malkin, who'll hit free agency next summer.
Nick Kypreos put it bluntly:
"I am now more in the belief that Sidney Crosby will be traded; if they're really bad, the likelihood he's traded after the Olympics grows"
However, it remains to be seen if he'll finish that contract in Pittsburgh or somewhere else.
Elliotte Friedman added fuel to the fire:
"I've wondered about that; I completely agree with you; the only one thing people argue with me about is, he's such a creature of habit, do you want to trade him in-season?"
It appears it's not about if Crosby will be traded, but when he'll be traded. Stay tuned for more details.
