An NHL analyst revealed who the Chicago Blackhawks will select with their two first round picks at the upcoming draft.

The Chicago Blackhawks will speak twice on Friday, June 27, during the first round of the NHL Entry Draft, both at the third and 25th overall picks.
According to the NHL's official Instagram page, projections for the 2025 Draft have the Blackhawks selecting two promising forwards.
With the third overall pick, Chicago is predicted to take Anton Frondell, a talented centerman from Djurgardens IF in Sweden's top league. With the 25th pick, they are projected to select Malcolm Spence, a skilled left winger from the Erie Otters.
The NHL also revealed that they expect Michael Misa to be selected 2nd overall, Caleb Desnoyers 4th, and James Hagens fifth.

Missing out on defenseman Matthew Schaefer, who is expected to go first overall, isn't a major concern for Chicago. The organization must focuse on bringing offensive depth. Adding Frondell and Spence could help address long-term needs down the middle.
Frondell had a strong campaign in Sweden, scoring 11 goals and tallying 25 points in 29 games. He also scored five goals and seven points in a short stay with Djurgardens' junior team. Meanwhile, Spence impressed playing alongside projected second overall pick Michael Misa, with a 32 goals and 73 points tally in 65 games.
Although fans may dream of reuniting Misa and Spence in Chicago, it would likely require the Blackhawks to move up in the draft - a move they've explored but haven't managed to pull off yet.
With these two projected picks, the Blackhawks would continue to stockpile high-end forward talent to complement their already emerging defensive core.
