As the Blackhawks' 2024/25 season has been completed, fans and reporters have already begun to speculate what Chicago's first move will be this offseason, and new insight has suggested that one specific veteran will be on his way out of Chicago and on his way to New York.

The Blackhawks have a current youth movement flowing through the ranks, and new insight has suspected that the organization's veteran defensemen, T.J. Brodie, will be packing his bags and departing from Chicago.
This doesn't come as a surprise for most Chicago fans, due to the fact the organization's front office had specific intentions when signing this veteran, yet it didn't pan out as expected, and the future looks pretty dull for this defenseman comparably to the rest of Chicago's roster.
T.J. Brodie did not participate in any games with the Blackhawks following March 1, and many have begun to speculate that he may just be bought out of the organization this summer.
However, a new report has revealed a potential destination for the 34-year old.

T.J. Brodie on his way to New York?

New insight has suggested if Brodie comes discounted from Chicago this summer if the organization buys him out, the New York Rangers may just jump on this depth blue-liner, who could possibly offer the team extra help to fix their needed defensive lineup.
Do you think that the New York Rangers will acquire T.J. Brodie if the Chicago Blackhawks buy him out?
