"Chicago I'm coming back": Patrick Kane teases Blackhawks fans with latest statement

The Chicago Blackhawks departed with their long-time veteran, Patrick Kane, during the 2022/23 NHL season, where he made his way to the New York Rangers for a season, then was quickly acquired by the Detroit Red Wings.

Following Kane spending his past two NHL seasons in Detroit, the star-forward is set to become a free agency this summer.

That being said, Chicago's fan-base has been desperate to see Kane back in the Blackhawks roster, and although his moves are uncertain this offseason, it is confirmed Kane will be spending some time in the city he loves: Chicago.

Patrick Kane recently made a post on social media, via 'X', announcing he will be coming back to Chicago this summer, but for a surprising reason.

As the former fan-favourite will be making his way back to Chicago for a meet and greet with fans on August 8th.

This event includes a live Q&A session, giving Kane and a rare chance to speak to one of the most iconic players in Blackhawks history.

However this isn't just about the nostalgia, Kane is also set to give back a part of the proceeds to support the next generation of young hockey players through 1616.org, a cause that is very sentimental to him.
