The hockey world is mourning, as a tragedy hit the community following the passing of a young goaltender, Antoine Bourdeau.
Yesterday, March 28, a saddening announcement by the Ontario Hockey Academy, also known as OHA, was issued regarding a young goaltender, Antoine Bourdeau, who suddenly left us.
The Ontario Hockey Academy showed their condolences yesterday on social media:
«We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our alumni, Antoine Bourdeau (2016-2018)
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. He will always be remembered as a valued member of the OHA family.

Bourdeau was known as a highly touted prospect, playing high-level hockey from 13 years old with such organizations as the Ontario Hockey Academy, Brockville Braves, Markham Royals and the Lac St-Louis Arsenal Espoir, which was close to his home roots in Montreal, Quebec City.
The 24-year old was revealed to be an all-around positive light in and out of his hockey community.

With his contagious smile and infectious laugh, he spread happiness around him, making every moment they shared unforgettable. Wrote his obituary
