In the midst of trade rumors looming in the Chicago Blackhawks organization, head coach Anders Sorensen had removed a 20-year old player from the lineup before facing off against Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche.

After a rough month of March for the Blackhawks alongside frustrations reaching an all-time high for Connor Bedard, who took two-ten minute misconducts, trade rumors raised regarding the former first overall pick.
The spotlight is seemingly becoming smaller on a Bedard as it's turned on his teammate, a 20-year old former 7th overall pick in the 2022 NHL entry draft.

Trade chatter picks up: Blackhawks healthy scratch Kevin Korchinski

After a new wave of defensemen making the leap to the NHL in Artyom Levshunov and Sam Rinzel, Korchinski now sees himself on the outside of the lineup as a former 4th round pick, Ethan Del Mastro makes his way in.
Fans believe a trade involving Kevin Korchinski wouldn't be a bad thing after all, as he could bring in a strong return as his value still remains high. But if the Blackhawks tend to wait, it will seemingly drop.

Blackhawks new projected lineup

Head coach Anders Sorensen displayed a new set of lines at morning skate, which revealed a major promotion to defenseman Sam Rinzel, who just made his NHL debut against the Utah Hockey Club on March 30th.

In the midst of trade speculation in Chicago, Blackhawks fans can only hope Kyle Davidson pulls off another masterclass similar to what he received in return for Seth Jones.
