The Chicago Blackhawks have confirmed through coach Jeff Blashill that forward Jason Dickinson's status for today's game against the Anaheim Ducks won't be known until game time.

The Chicago Blackhawks are looking for another win today when they bring in the Anaheim Ducks to the United Center, but they could be shorthanded up front.
Forward Jason Dickinson, who missed practice on Saturday with an undisclosed injury, is going to be a game-time decision for today's game against the Ducks, according to the latest from head coach Jeff Blashill.
If Dickinson isn't able to go against the Ducks, they could turn to either Landon Slaggert or Sam Lafferty to replace him up front.
Dickinson has played in 5 games for the Blackhawks so far this year and has a goal with an assist.
The game is scheduled to start from downtown Chicago at 7:00 PM EST.

2 Former Blackhawks return to Chicago today with the Ducks

The Blackhawks will likely have tributes for both former head coach Joel Quenneville and former goaltender Petr Mrazek, both of whom are now with the Ducks.
Quenneville led the Blackhawks to 3 Stanley Cups during his time behind the bench in Chicago but was let go after a slow start in November of 2018.
Mrazek played a handful of years for the Blackhawks before being traded in March to the former divisional foe Detroit Red Wings; they later traded him over the summer to the Ducks for John Gibson.
