BREAKING: NHL Team Officially Hires Gold-Medal Winning Female as Development Coach

There has been a lot of ups and a lot of downs throughout this years NHL off-season, the ups have involved a lot of females joining various professional hockey leagues such as NHL, AHL and OHL, as scouts or player development coach.
It all started when the Montreal Canadiens announced that Marie-Philip Poulin was hired on as a development consultant in June.
Which lead to multiple females getting AHL, NHL and OHL roles, there are even female coaches in the OHL currently.
The latest, is Rebecca Johnston. Marie-Philip Poulin's good friend, and a back-to-back gold medal champion at the women's worlds. The Calgary Flames announced that Johnston will be joining the Calgary Flames in a full-time role as apart of their development team.
