A TikTok personality, @mainstreetsports, recently proposed an intriguing hypothesis involving Auston Matthews and Connor Bedard.
It's no surprise that many Chicago Blackhawks fans are excited about the possibility of selecting 1st overall in the 2023 NHL Entry draft.
According to the theory, in 2023-2024 Auston Matthews could consider joining the Chicago team, considering their cap space and ability to offer a competitive salary compared to his current team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The TikTok personality also suggested that playing alongside Connor Bedard would be a motivating factor, as it would provide another opportunity to shine in an Original 6 territory with just as large of a market as Toronto.
Although the idea is entertaining to ponder, it remains to be seen whether it will come to fruition.
