NHL faces allegations of attempting to rig a Sunday night game against a Canadian team

The NHL is once again under scrutiny for favoritism against Canadian teams, as commissioner Gary Bettman has shown his clear favoritism towards American organizations, it appears that the on-ice officials have followed lead.
As the Montreal Canadiens faced off against the Florida Panthers on Sunday night in a must-win game for the Canadian team, refs missed blatant penalties that nearly altered the game.
On March 28th, Habs forward Brendan Gallagher called out referees in a heated post-game interview.
Gallagher called for refs to be let go, who show a lack of consistency.
It's incompetence. We need someone in there who can show consistency. Let's players are asking- I mean, I don't know who's making the decision- Its players are frustrated all over the league. It seems like there's zero consistency and it needs to change. We got to get people in there who understand the game and um you know, we're not getting that right now.

Moments after Gallagher's stick was stolen, Brad Marchand decided he wanted one for himself as well, which also went uncalled.
Fans alleged that refs attempted to rig Canadiens-Panthers
It seems as though the officials are willing to help Florida on their hunt for back-to-back, but were unable to do so as the Canadiens beat the Panthers and the refs for a 4-2 win.
Fans alleged that officials have bets on the games due to how poor the officiating was.
The two teams are set to face off once again on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m, this time under home roof for Montreal at the Bell Center.
