This New Blackhawk Proves Why He's The Next Andrew Shaw
The Blackhawks sadly fell to the St.Louis Blues in their first preseason game on Tuesday, September 27th, but their were very many positives to the game.
Lots of youth took place in the Blackhawks lineup and they looked very well, one player specifically stood out and that player is
Samuel Savoie, who head coach Luke Richardson compared to the one and only Blackhawk, Andrew Shaw.
Savoie put on a clinic during his first NHL game, which was against St.Louis. Savoie put up 4 solid hits in his first 3 shifts on the ice, he totalled for 5 hits total in just 12 minutes of ice time and had a solid forechecking game.
One moment that has Hawks fans talking about him can be seen below.
The St.Louis Blues had a wide open net and scored, but the goal was disallowed, why? Savoie threw a great hit behind the play, and drew a penalty right as the Blues scored. No goal, and a Hawks powerplay from Savoie!
