REPORT: Blackhawks Place Player on Injury Reserve And Make a Roster Move
With Seth Jones placed on injured reserve, the Blackhawks were left with six defensemen on the active roster. Although he's the healthy scratch in tonight's game against the New York Islanders, Alec Regula has been called up from Rockford. Filip Roos will play tonight on the blueline alongside Caleb Jones.
Regula has scored two goals in four games with the IceHogs this season. Last season, he earned 26 points (4G, 22A) in 41 games with Rockford and one goal in 15 games with the Blackhawks. Regula will likely play in more games with Chicago until S. Jones is medically cleared.
