Patrick Kane makes an announcement: A major change made with the Chicago Blackhawks

Patrick Kane is optimistic about the Blackhawks' future. With Connor Bedard set to be the team's future star, they have had a mix of head coaches recently and no coherent identity or direction.
With Anders Sorense's firing, GM Kyle Davidson would hire former Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill in order to push the rebuild forward in the NHL.
On a CHSN podcast with Pat Boyle, Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane believes Coach Blashill will be the right person for the team.
Why Jeff Blashill Is The Right Coach For The Blackhawks
"He's gonna be someone that holds the players accountable," Kane said about Blashill. "He's the perfect coach for the young group they have."
Young players need to hold themselves accountable, in addition to discipline from leadership like Blashill, to grow. Building good habits and learning from your mistakes, growth 101.
Kane believes Blashill won't single people out based on their status, comparing
Blashill and Bedard to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
A match made in NFL heaven. Now, if Blashill can do the same with Bedard, he can not only flush his bad reputation in the league, but also put the Blackhawks on the right course.
Kane's optimism regarding the Blackhawks' future under Blashill is a good sign, as someone who's won three Stanley Cups and has more than a decade of playing experience, we should take heed of his words.
His experience with Blashill has been in the international realm of hockey, in the IIHF World Championships with Team USA.
Perhaps he has just spoken something into existence?
