Good fortunes reigned at the hands of the Blackhawks GM
Good luck is always something anyone needs in their life every once in a while. Whether it's winning your local hockey pool due to a change you made or making a decision that had a great outcome when you weren't expecting it always makes life better.
General manager Kyle Davidson decided to try for some good luck during the NHL draft lottery where he wrote two words on his hand.
One happened to be his daughter Willa who is four months old, and the other is me who happened to be the daughter he lost midway through his wife's pregnancy in 2021.
The Blackhawks organization will make use of their lottery pick by drafting
Connor Bedard and the team holds nine draft picks in the first three rounds.
The team hopes the good fortunes in good luck will continue as they round out their draft board in hopes of accelerating this rebuilding phase they've begun to do.
The NHL draft will be held on June 28th and 29th.
