Controversial NHL family member in running for new NHL job.
*View Discretion is advised*
The controversial story regarding the Bowman family and what happened with the Blackhawks has resurfaced again in the news as it appears that Stan Bowman may be in the running for a new hockey operations job with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Bowman was involved in the 2010 incident with the Blackhawks and after much deliberation with the NHL and the organization, bowman decided to step down from his role as president of hockey ops and general manager. This caused a ripple effect across the NHL with many expressing their anger in regards to the lack of action towards the criminal.
Since the news broke that Bowman may be in the running for the Penguins job, fans have moved to Twitter and expressed their disdain and anger towards this possible union.
It's also been mentioned that Joel Quenneville might also be in the running for a new NHL job where he also was involved with the Blackhawks organization during this tumultuous time.
Time will tell if the Pittsburgh Penguins decide to hire him or at least conduct an interview and I expect more backlash from the fans and pundits across the NHL regarding this.
