It appears Bedard has figured out the game to the point that he is consistently registering goals and assists.
The one thing that's been missing throughout all of this is that he broke another Chicago Blackhawks record.
Connor Bedard's 9 Goals are most through 13 career NHL games in #Blackhawks history. Nobody else with more than 7.
In 13 games in the regular season, Bedard has scored 9 goals, a new record for the 18-year-old rookie. No player has ever scored more than 7 goals in Blackhawks history.
Oh my, Connor Bedard. #Blackhawks
Connor Bedard is good at hockey
Aside from that, Bedard is the first 18-year-old in the NHL to have multiple points in successive games since David Pastrnak in 2014-15.
Bedard seems to have figured NHL ice out and is adapting well to NHL play as expected.
Even though the team lost to the Florida Panthers again, Bedard's development is more important for winning in the long run.
