Two Chicago Blackhawks forwards missed practice ahead of Wednesday's game against the New Jersey Devils at the United Center.

The Chicago Blackhawks will have the opportunity to achieve their longest winning streak since 2016 tonight.
Indeed, they haven't won four straight games since December 2016, and tonight they could do so by beating the New Jersey Devils.
In their last three games, Connor Bedard and the Hawks have tallied 14 goals, and the 53 goals scored so far this season put them second in their division in that category, only behind the Colorado Avalanche.
However, two forwards missed today's morning skate, suggesting the Hawks could have to cope with a few holes in their lineup for this crucial game.

Two Blackhawks Players Miss Morning Skate Ahead Of Game vs. Devils

The New Jersey Devils are among the best teams in the League this year, currently at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with an 11-4-1 record.
It won't be an easy game for the Hawks, especially if they aren't able to count on the players who missed today's practice.
Both Frank Nazar and Andre Burakovsky, two key pieces of the Hawks' top six, weren't on the ice.
Although Jason Dickinson returned to the ice, head coach Jeff Blashill confirmed he was doubtful for the game against the Devils.
With Nazar, Burakovsky, and Dickinson out of the lineup, other players will need to step up if the Hawks want to get the two points tonight.
As for the Devils, they also face their share of injury-related adversity, with key defensemen Dougie Hamilton and Brett Pesce unavailable for the game.
Tonight's game in Chicago marks the first of a long road trip that will take them to Washington, Florida, and Philadelphia. They will surely be looking to win at all costs to start their trip on a high note.
