A hockey match turned into a maelstrom of chaos as a mother of a hockey player took the ice in a fit of rage, as the Ice Mammoths and United Selects in the Czech Republic fought it out.
The clip was brought to our attention by Habsetlnh.
In the game of hockey, passions flare often, typically between players on the ice.
But for some parents and friends, it extends out to those watching the game.
In a game in the Czech Republic between the "United Selects" and "Ice Mammoths", a mother would interrupt the game to contest the penalties taken by her son's team.
Kicking and Screaming: The Hockey Edition
She'd take the ice and begin a short-lived shoving match with the referees in order to protect the incessant penalties taken.
The referee would hilariously move her off the ice swifltly, and onto the bench, instead of the penalty box.
She'd accept her new spot in life on the bench of her son's hockey team, not having changed much of anything at all.
Don't Mess With Mom
Maybe the hockey team should teach her to skate so she can take on the enforcer's role?
Anyways, you have to wonder whether or not the son felt embarrassed after such a scene.
Regardless, it does make you miss the NHL at the moment.
We have yet to make it to the start of training camp, as free agency rolls on without much happening in the way of things.
Legitimately, she had more fire for the referees than Pat Maroon ever did for his teammtes on the Blackhawks.
