The hockey community will never let go of the shock and void left by Johnny and brother Matthew Gaudreau, when they were struck and killed by 43-year old drunk driver Sean Higgins, just one night before their sisters wedding.
The deaths of the Gaudreau's have left a deep impact on family, fans and the hockey world as a whole.
The Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils and several other pro-sports organizations held 13-seconds of silence following their tribute video being played to honor the lost life's of the two young men.
The most recent team to hold the special moment with their arena was the Toronto Maple Leafs, who's tribute to Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau left many touched-but 'fans' had different plans for the moment of silence.
A handful of fans took to social media to voice their displeasure over the matter, some comments not being able to be shown due to expletive wording.
It's important to know that no matter how excited you are for a game- or your team at most, there is bigger and more important things.
