The Chicago Blackhawks haven't been getting a lot of calls go their way recently, with Bedard's ten-minute misconducts, goals being taken off the board, missed calls, and more.

Well, the misfortunes continued for the Blackhawks in the game against the Vancouver Canucks when the Hawks had a 2-0 lead late in the first period with goals from Connor Bedard and Tyler Bertuzzi.
Towards the end of the first after Bertuzzi's goal, the puck was loose in front of the Canucks net. Defenseman Wyatt Kaiser and forward Nick Foligno were both jabbing away at it and the puck eventually crossed the goal line. However, it was called no goal. The play was not reviewed.
After the game in the postgame interviews, Foligno was asked why the play wasn't reviewed. He said the play simply couldn't be reviewed, but forgot the reason why- he probably tuned out after he heard it just couldn't have been reviewed and didn't care.
« 'I guess it's not reviewable because of, I don't know, whatever the criteria is that it didn't meet. Like I mentioned to him, I just don't understand why he would jump on top of the net. We all know the camera angle comes from up top, right? So it just doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and it would have clearly shown the goal, especially because Eberle grabs it and literally puts it on top of the goalie. It is what it is. You can't allow a goal - 2 goals - right after that though, that's the bigger issue.' »
Foligno has 27 points in 64 games this season and is on the bottom-six. His leadership and experience really benefits the younger players, especially as captain.
Foligno's contract ends next year, and it's unknown whether or not he'll keep playing or retire.
Either way, the puck crossed the line, and it couldn't be reviewed and have a chance to be overturned. Foligno has a right to be mad.
