Bedard is currently in a slump and after last night hasn't scored a point in the last four games.
The goal drought continued extending to nine games, as he only took one shot on goal against Artur Silovs, in front of the net which was easily gloved.
Sportsnet's Luke Gadzic and Paul Bissonnette offered an opinion on the skilled forward:
It's ironic, considering neither one of them was known for their scoring abilities or offensive output in the NHL.
,q>"He can't win faceoffs in this league. So when you're getting burnt in the faceoff circle, you can't start shifts off in your own end, and then he can't win him in the offensive zone, so he's not getting that O-zone time. He's spending way too much time defending."
Honestly, how many face-offs did Gadzic, or Biznasty ever win? The irony of all these ex-enforcers turned analysts is palpable. Not to mention, hilarious.
Biz suggested moving the sophomore to the wing, which would make the mess of the Blackhawks lineup, even more confusing. As the Blackhawks don't have any legitimate centers at this point, aside from Bedard, and Dickinson.
This might be a solution if they called up Frank Nazar, but of course, Biz doesn't think long-term.
Gadzic would again torch Bedard:
Gadzic has suggested after going 0-8 in the circle(on Saturday), Bedard should work on improving his play in the circle. Last we knew, Bedard was working with Yanic Perreault during practices with the Blackhawks organization.
These guys get paid the big bucks to be wrong often or?
