In return, the Rangers received veteran defenseman Calvin de Haan,
Juuso Parssinen, and two conditional 2025 picks.
Since then, he's had trouble staying in the Rangers' lineup and found himself as a healthy scratch.

Quickly after practice ended, the longtime veteran took to social media to vent.
De Haan has played 679 games in the NHL and scored 149 points (24 goals, 125 assists), and was once a Chicago Blackhawk early in his career.
It's safe to assume we won't see him suiting up in New York Rangers colors again after the season is over.
