Fans didn't get to show him some love when he scored his first goal of the season in Calgary, but they doubled down last night when Toews beat
Dustin Wolf to give his team the lead in the second period.
After the game, Toews shared his thoughts on scoring the goal and how he felt when it was challenged by the Flames:
"I didn't feel too good about it once there were challenges,» Toews said. «I haven't had too many of those go my way in the past. I was just trying to prepare myself for the worst and shake it off if the call goes against us, whatever, keep playing. But it was nice to get that one. I didn't feel like I interfered, but I haven't seen the replay. But it was good to have that one count."
Toews and the Jets will be back in action tomorrow as they host the Utah Mammoth.
