The Chicago Blackhawks forward Frank Nazar took a page out of Patrick Kane's book in Sunday night's game against the Anaheim Ducks.
Patrick Kane left a lasting impression in Chicago.
He scored over 1,200 regular-season points and 132 playoff points through 16 seasons.
The Hawks' first overall pick in 2007 won three Stanley Cups, the Calder, the Art Ross, the Hart Memorial, the Conn Smythe, and a Ted Lindsay Award before leaving for the New York Rangers in 2023.
There's no doubt that «Showtime» still inspires the Blackhawks' locker room to bring the franchise back to its former glory.
Last night, Frank Nazar, who's tied with
Connor Bedard at the top of the Blackhawks' scorer rankings with seven points, proved it after he scored a goal against the Anaheim Ducks.

With just over 10 minutes left in the game, Nazar scored in spectacular fashion. After a brilliant zone entry, he capitalized on a rebound to beat
Lukas Dostal.

After the goal, he took inspiration from Kane for his celebration:
After the 2-1 win over the Ducks, Nazar shared his thoughts on the play:
"I don't really remember the full play right now. I've got to relax a little bit. Dono made a great play getting it at the blue line, taking a hit to make a play. Kaiser joined up on the rush, had a good shot. Really just stopping at the net for those greasy goals. We knew it was going to be a hard one to get and something that was going to be greasy right there. Just how it went."
"Bedard (who had three assists himself against the Blues) is going to be the Blackhawks' biggest star for the next however-many-years, but Nazar is going to be the most fun player to watch. He needs a nickname. And yes, 'Showtime' is already taken."
