In a recent media availability, Chicago Blackhawks guard Connor Bedard described the night he broke his jaw.

Bedard's jaw was broken during the game against the New Jersey Devils when Brendan Smith hit the 1st overall pick in 2023 in the face, resulting in a broken jaw.

It was this hit that caused Bedard's jaw fracture, which kept him out of play for 6 weeks until he returned in mid-February.

Following Bedard's injury, his teammate Taylor Raddysh and his wife kept him company so he didn't feel lonely. It is a huge gesture of friendship and caring.

In response to Raddysh's gesture, Bedard admitted he would not forget what Raddysh and his family did in the near future.

Since Bedard's return, he has dominated the league, with 18 points in 13 games. Of which 8 points he put up in the last two games.

With the Blackhawks mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, the team has begun to sign players to ELC. They continue to formulate the reimagined Blackhawks.
