The Chicago Blackhawks organization has issued a statement on a former beloved member of their Stanley Cup dynasty roster

The Chicago Blackhawks organization has recognized some of their legends throughout the past year, including the induction of Jeremy Roenick into the hockey Hall of Fame, as well as numerous numbers, being retired.
Fast-forward a few months in the Rockford IceHogs organization, the Chicago Blackhawks' AHL organization in the American hockey league, and they have announced that another member will be honoured.
The fourth member of their Four Rings of Honour will be Bryan Bickell.
On February 15, they will be inducting him into the Ring of Honour as as well as hosting a meet and greet.
For those who want to meet Bryan Bickell and potentially get an autograph, a game ticket is not needed, separate tickets to Bryan Bickell's meet and greet have been listed by the Rockford IceHogs and their ticket company, and can be purchased now.
But hurry quick, the IceHogs' attendance has surprisingly been near sellout numbers this year, compared to their NHL team the Chicago Blackhawks, who have struggled in the attendance category so far.
Bickell served as a two-way player for the Blackhawks around the time that all the Stanley cups poured in, a fourth line player who scored big goals when needed in the playoffs.
He won two Stanley cups in 2013 and 2015, scoring 17 points throughout the 2013 playoffs.
Sadly, for Bickell, his career was cut short in 2017 after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Bickell still took on a challenge and signed a contract with the Carolina hurricanes, before he would ultimately announce his retirement from the National Hockey League.
The ice hogs event coming up to honor Bickell includes a pregame Q&A session, a personal meet and greet, and soft drinks as well. The doors will open at 3:30 PM by the entrance through The Club Lounge doors.
The event starts at 4 PM and tickets are $100 each and can be found here
