Chicago Blackhawks' leading goal scorer to part ways with the organization in free agency
The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Kyle Davidson have shaped their youth movement for an exciting future, but it appears that one veteran forward will be parting ways with the organization come July 1st NHL free agency.
Not only for mentorship, but on-ice structure.
This past season, the veteran leadership truly showed.
With Teravainen and other veterans under contract, Ryan Donato is not, and it appears that he will indeed by leaving the Blackhawks and will test free agency in hopes of landing with a more stable organization.
With Donato appearing gone, here's how the Blackhawks forward lines will look for the upcoming season
Signing Donato should've been more of a priority for the Blackhawks, at age 29, he still has a lot left in the tank, and was considered a veteran amongst the young forward core.
