The Chicago Blackhawks will take on the New Jersey Devils in Wednesday night hockey action on TNT; the team will need to stand fast, as they're down two key forwards.
While both players have been practicing with the team, they haven't been cleared to return to the lineup.
Dickinson has been missing after the team's first 16 games and is out of the lineup with an upper-body injury and is on IR (injured reserve).
For Frank Nazar, this will be the second game he's missed this season for the Blackhawks.
He did take part in warmups in Detroit; when the team played against his hometown Red Wings, he'd be scratched 15 minutes before the game began.
«I would say he's still day to day,» head coach Jeff Blashill said after Tuesday's practice. «I don't anticipate him [to play] tomorrow, and Saturday, I'm not sure.»

With these two out of the lineup, the team will have to play short-handed with 11 forwards and 7 defensemen.
A lineup formation that Blashill has utilized successfully since the beginning of the year.
Instead of utilizing Nazar and Dickinson, he'll have to continue to switch up the lineup and use
Ryan Donato and
Nick Foligno as centers.
