A significant statement has been released by New York Rangers Artemi Panarin and it draws serious backlash
Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin and New York Rangers head coach Petr Laviolette are making waves in the hockey world for controversial post-game comments following a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday.
According to
Rangers insider, two members of the New York Rangers are under fire for their recent post-game comments.
After a brutal 5-1 loss to the Lightning on Monday, the Rangers faced another setback on their hunt to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which set them back by a whopping six points for a Wild Card spot.
Panarin's comments reflect their recent on-ice play and another oddball comment made by head coach Peter Laviolette.
According to the head coach himself, he revealed that he never steps foot in the team's locker room after a game, ever.
"I don't have a message right now. I don't go into the locker room after the game."
These comments and the concerning message sent to Artemi Panarin could ultimately lead to Laviolette's firing by the New York Rangers.
Things have been a mess as of late, and it all kicked off with Panarin's comments, with some prompting messages stating that the forward would make a better coach than Laviolette.
Panarin, there's always an open door in Chicago alongside fresh young talent... just saying!
