Following another embarrassing loss, the Chicago Blackhawks held a players-only meeting in which the young talent, Connor Bedard, was called out by the team veterans.

It's been another miserable year in Chicago, as the Blackhawks never remotely threatened to even think about a playoff spot in what has been yet another losing season.
Following their most recent loss, a 5-0 laugher against the Pittsburgh Penguins (who also won't make the playoffs), a closed-door players-only meeting was held.
Per reports, the veteran players on the club lashed out at the younger players with "raised voices", including former 1st overall pick Connor Bedard.
As far as Ryan Donato is concerned about the yelling, there could have been even more.
I think we could have used more of it. The coaches give us all the right messages. They can tell us everything to do. It's about us to execute that. They give us a good plan to go in the game. We all have to buy into that and play the same way. I think it's on the veterans and some of the young guys to make sure we're doing what we're told.

Like I said, some of the most simple teams are the best. As a team that's young and inexperienced, the more simple you play, you create more offense, you create all these different things.

As defenseman Connor Murphy put it, the session allowed the players to blow off some steam.
Just to address games that sometimes guys feel like need to be addressed. Sometimes it's good to blow off some steam and not sit on it for days. So just how bad we played and things from the game.

The Blackhawks had better figure things out in terms of the direction of their franchise before they allow a losing culture to fester for too long within their dressing room.
