The Chicago Blackhawks have been lacking in many aspects this 2024/25 NHL season, there has been many fans speculating that a big factor to the teams underwhelming presence in the league has to do with their management, and a reporter, Todd Welter, recently confirmed the fate of the Chicago Blackhawks' future, and if former Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella will have anything to do with it.

On Thursday, March 26, the Philadelphia Flyers' head coach, John Tortorella, was terminated from his position due to remarks he made following Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, which ultimately led to his dismissal.
This has caused many rumours and speculations for where this head coach's next destination will be, with the Chicago Blackhawks name floating around, a reporter has gotten down to the nitty gritty, announcing whether or not Tortorella has any future in Chicago.

Todd Welter, a reporter, revealed his insight towards the Chicago Blackhawks acquiring head coach John Tortorella:

Wrote Todd Welter:
"Anders Sorensen's lack of emotion on the bench is likely just one of the many reasons he will not have the interim tag lifted from his head coaching title.

However, hiring the recently available John Tortorella's emotional leadership style would not be a good idea either.

Sure, he would be entertaining, but this team does not need his leadership approach.

Much like how other teams have realized his rough around-the-edges management does not work out, at least, in the long run, the Hawks should understand early in searching process, Torts would not be a fit for them."

John Tortorella may seem to be a successful head coach, but he may not be the type of leader the Chicago Blackhawks need for their re-build right now.
The Chicago Blackhawks need someone who is patient and understanding of the growing pains that come with a young group of players such as their organization.
In hope the team finds the kind of leader they are in need of, we can hope the Blackhawks organization keeps there head down until this veteran coach finds himself a new home.
